ACC 2441 Larsen Road Green Bay, WI 54303 Telephone: 920-494-3258 Fax: 920-494-3531 Email: [email protected] Website: www.ACConverting.comrn “Most of the capabilities we have are usually devoted to paper substrates by other converters,” said Mark Kyles of ACC. “But we have also carved out a strong niche of expertise in handling nonwovens.” ACC’s capabilities include contract folding of single and multi-ply substrates including wipers for automotive, medical, industrial and food packaging markets. Slitting and rewinding are strengths for single and multiply nonwovens, paper and tissue materials. Rewinding widths to 130 inches are available, along with plying capabilities.ACC also reworks materials for customers. Laminating occurs in two processes—at 55 inches using a print technique; in addition, 55 inches and wider using spray lamination is also available. Finished contract packaging associated with product converting rounds out ACC’s total turnkey support, including labeling, sorting, shrink wrap, stretch wrap, banding and repackaging. ACC’s flexibility ranges from large-scale converting to trials, samples and small-run support. ACC’s expertise includes a full range of folding capabilities. In addition, the company’s equipment accommodates many cut lengths and widths for wipes, towels and other disposables. Changeovers to new sizes are often made quickly with simple machine setting variations. ACC also boasts some unique folding capabilities, being able to fan-fold and then roll materials such as drop cloths and large drapes. Also, a large web variable folding machine can combine three-web-wide with hotmelt seaming. Folding webs ranging from 4- to 12-foot sizes is not unusual for ACC. Contract converting of nonwovens, laminates and film substrates in partnering relationships keeps ACC’s profile relatively quiet due to the confidential nature of the business. “We’re totally focused on being customer driven,” said Mr. Kyles. “And we are also able to offer ideas and developmental improvements to customers with new products.” Since 1997, ACC has offered diverse capabilities with a strong commitment to Service With Integrity. According to Peter Bekx, managing member, “Because of our service support and reliability, we have been able to forge associations with Fortune 500 companies, as well as numerous small-to-medium firms.” Along with third company principal Gary Forehand, ACC founders came to the business with wide-ranging converting expertise that continues to bring innovation to converting nonwovens today.
